Marking the beginning of a month-long devotion, a program was held at the school quadrangle during the morning ceremony to officially launch the Month of the Holy Rosary.
To start, the program began with a doxology led by the Salindayog Cultural Dance Troupe, setting a reverent tone for the celebration.
This was followed by the offering of the Twelve Candles for the Blessed Virgin Mary, executed by selected representatives from Grades 1–12, along with the flower offering led by members of the Family Council as a gesture of love and devotion.
Other offerings were also given, such as the Rosary presented by Ms. Mercy Lerios, symbolizing the importance of prayer in everyday life.
The Scepter was offered by Human Resource Development Officer Mr. Jhonny M. Lajom, while the Crown for the Holy Child Jesus was led by Austin Leiandrei DC. Evangelista from Grade 1 Piety.
Finally, the Crown of the Blessed Virgin Mary was offered by the Dean of College, S. Ma. Anita S. Tomas, R.V.M., completing the series of symbolic presentations.
Shortly thereafter, a procession of the Blessed Virgin Mary was conducted around the quadrangle.
The image was carried by Marshals with altar servers, angels from Kindergarten, and candle offerers joining in a prayerful and reflective walk.
This was followed by the praying of the Holy Rosary led by the assigned prayer leaders—Mr. Jeanne Andrew Valerio and Ms. Chryseis Leila Sempio, encouraging active participation from the entire school community.
Parents also participated in marking each mystery of the rosary by sharing their prayer intentions.
Marking the end of the rosary, Voces Mariae, led by the organization’s moderator—Mr. Vic Gerome Dela Cruz, performed a song choir of the prayer “Salve Regina.”
The program concluded with the collective action song “Katood ni Ina,” performed by all students, which reflected both devotion and unity. The dance, taught by Christian Living teachers, allowed students to express their faith through coordinated movement and song.
The event formally marked the beginning of the Month of the Holy Rosary, highlighting the importance of Marian devotion within the school.
For the Month of the Holy Rosary, upcoming activities are scheduled to take place until Oct. 23, continuing to strengthen the spiritual life of the community.
