Over 9,000 Baliwagenyos Receive 10-kilo Rice Aid under Provincial Program
More than 9,000 Baliwagenyos from indigent and vulnerable sectors received 10 kilograms of rice, each under the first cycle of the provincial government’s Bawat Bayan Makikinabang program. At the same time, more than 800 residents also received food packs to help ease their families’ daily expenses.
The distribution, led by the Provincial Government of Bulacan, aimed to meet basic needs for qualified beneficiaries and ease rising household expenses.
Under the program, each beneficiary from the identified sectors received 10 kilograms of rice, while food packs were distributed to more than 800 Baliwagenyos as additional assistance.
The initiative seeks to extend support to vulnerable communities by providing essential food supplies and helping families manage their day-to-day needs.
The City Government of Baliwag expressed its gratitude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. for supporting the program, which brought assistance to residents through coordinated government efforts.
Baliwag also recognized the Provincial Government of Bulacan, led by Governor Daniel Fernando, and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, headed by Vice Governor Alex Castro, for their support and cooperation in delivering assistance to the city’s residents.
The initiative highlights the role of coordination among the national, provincial, and local governments in extending social assistance to communities, particularly those belonging to indigent and vulnerable sectors.
Through the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang program, thousands of Baliwagenyo families gained access to essential food assistance intended to help reduce their household expenses and support their daily needs.
The successful completion of the first distribution cycle marks the provincial government’s continuing efforts to bring assistance closer to communities across Bulacan, with Baliwag among the cities benefiting from the initiative.
