Marko Nathaniel Bulaon brought merit to St. Mary’s College of Baliuag, Inc. (S.M.C.B.) after bagging first place in Science Quiz Bee Level 2 during the Baliwag City Private School Association (BaCiPriSA) Meet held at St. Jean Baptiste Academy (S.J.B.A), Oct. 8.

Joining Mr. Bulaon in bringing distinction to the school are two other outstanding achievers: Ava Xerena De Leon—who secured 5th place in Science Quiz Bee Level 1 and Andrei Genesis Dizon—who clinched 4th place in Science Quiz Bee Level 3.

Trained by their coaches Ms. Jeanna Annete Salmorin, Ms. Alaissa Marie Maximo, and Ms. Ericca Alarcon Reyes displayed knowledge and critical thinking to compost throughout the contest.

Including himself, Mr. Bulaon mentioned that there were 15 contestants for the Science Quiz Bee Level 2.

Mr. Bulaon shared that this was not his first time joining the Science Quiz Bee competition. He shared that the last time he joined BulPriSA was 3 years ago.

“I also joined last year in basketball and science when I was grade 3, where I won first place for level 1,” he said.

Mr. Bulaon described his experience in BaCiPriSA as “a good experience.”

“I was happy that I fulfilled my mission to win first place,” he added.

S.M.C.B. extends its warmest congratulations to Ms. Dizon, Mr. Bulaon, and Mr. De Leon for their outstanding  achievements for representing the school with dignity and excellence.
