Teachers’ Day Commemorated; Performances, Gift-Giving Honor Educators
Through dance performances, gift-giving, and student-led activities, Ignacian Marians honored their teachers on Teachers’ Day, Oct. 9, appreciating their commitment and role in the school community.
The celebration began after the morning ceremony with a dance performance of “Katood ni Ina,” presented by selected students from Grades 5 and 8, and 12 – St. Therese of Lisieux, members of the Family Council, and teachers.
The Salindayog Cultural Dance Troupe also took the stage, performing to Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up” as teachers were invited to sit at the front and watch the presentation.
Following the performances, students expressed their appreciation by giving gifts to their respective teachers as a gesture of gratitude for their guidance and efforts.
The Student Government (S.G.) organized a separate program at the auditorium at 4 p.m., featuring games and performances prepared for the teachers’ day celebration.
Through the day’s activities, the school community came together to recognize the role of teachers in guiding students and supporting their learning and development.
