Baliwag Holds AI Training, Orientation

The Baliwag City government conducted an orientation and training on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), particularly Google Gemini, in partnership with Globe Telecom on Oct. 8 to improve workplace efficiency and public service delivery.

The activity aimed to introduce city government personnel to the practical applications of A.I. in performing their duties, including simplifying work processes, generating ideas, and assisting in various tasks related to their respective responsibilities.

Through the orientation and training, participants were introduced to ways in which Google Gemini can support their daily work and help make certain administrative processes more manageable. 

The initiative sought to demonstrate how emerging technologies can be integrated into government operations to support productivity and improve workflow efficiency.

The city government emphasized the importance of acquiring proper knowledge and practicing responsible A.I. use to ensure that technological advancements contribute positively to public service. 

By familiarizing personnel with A.I. tools, the initiative aims to help them adapt to evolving workplace demands while exploring opportunities to improve the delivery of government services.

Furthermore, the training reflects the local government’s continued efforts to embrace technological innovation and explore digital solutions that may help streamline operations and better serve the needs of Baliwagenyos.

The city government also expressed its gratitude to Globe Telecom for sharing its knowledge and expertise and for collaborating with the local government in promoting the responsible use of A.I. in public service.
