Wellness Program Kicks Off with Campus-Wide Dance Activity
Move and groove!
The campus came alive as members of the Salindayog Cultural Dance Troupe, together with teachers from the Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH) area, led an energetic dance performance as part of the school’s Wellness Program for the School Year (S.Y.) 2026–2027, held after the morning ceremony.
Students and school personnel actively joined the routine, transforming what began as a performance into a campus-wide participatory activity that promoted movement, engagement, and overall well-being.
The presentation featured a combination of lively dance steps and guided stretching exercises designed to encourage physical fitness.
The wellness activity followed the earlier launch of the Values of the Month, which took place before the morning prayers. While the earlier initiative focused on promoting proper nutrition and healthy habits, the dance activity served as a practical application of these values through movement and participation.
To sustain the initiative, selected grade levels will take turns leading the dance in future sessions, which are scheduled to be held every Monday, Thursday, and Friday, unlike last S.Y. in which the dance was only performed every Friday. This setup encourages broader participation and gives students the opportunity to take on leadership roles in promoting wellness.
Through programs like these, the school continues to strengthen its commitment to holistic development, encouraging students to value both physical health and community engagement.
