ICYMI: Baliwag City Holds Education Summit 2026

The Baliwag City Government held the Baliwag City Education Summit 2026 at the Baliwag Star Arena, bringing together education stakeholders to discuss school conditions, education programs, student opportunities, and plans for the city’s education sector.

The summit focused on matters concerning the needs of schools, teachers, and students, as well as the programs and initiatives being implemented to provide additional educational support.

Discussions during the event covered the current situation of schools in Baliwag, available programs for learners, opportunities for students, and succeeding measures for the local education sector.

The city government also highlighted the role of coordination among the local government, schools, teachers, parents, and the community in addressing concerns related to education.

As part of the summit, the city government distributed laptops to 25 teachers. The devices were provided to support teachers in their instructional and school-related responsibilities, including the preparation of learning materials and other teaching tasks.

A total of 2,500 learning kits were also distributed to beneficiaries of Project Strengthening Opportunities for Numeracy and Innovative Advancement, or Project SONIA.

The kits were provided as additional learning resources for students participating in the program.

The distribution of the laptops and learning kits was among the activities conducted during the summit as the city government continued its education-related assistance for teachers and learners.

The summit also served as a venue for stakeholders to discuss succeeding initiatives and identify areas that require continued attention and support. 

Representatives from different sectors involved in education participated in discussions concerning the needs of local schools and students.

The Baliwag City Government said continued collaboration among education stakeholders is important in implementing programs and addressing concerns within the city’s education sector.

The summit concluded with a renewed focus on strengthening educational support for teachers and students through programs, resources, and coordinated efforts among the city government and the education community.
