Baliwag Advisory Group Takes Oath to Support Police

Members of the Baliwag City Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (C.A.G.T.P.D.) formally took their oath on Sept. 22, pledging to work alongside the local police in strengthening peace and order efforts in the city.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Romeo Estrella Hall of the City Government of Baliwag, where members personally affirmed their commitment to serve as partners of the police through advice, insights, and recommendations concerning matters related to community safety and public order.

The C.A.G.T.P.D. brings together representatives from various sectors of the community, providing a broader range of perspectives that can contribute to police transformation and development initiatives.

Representatives of the advisory group come from the business sector, academe, local government units, youth, senior citizens, religious groups, women, media, information and communications technology, non-governmental organizations, persons with disabilities, the health sector, and other related institutions and organizations.

Through the participation of these sectors, the group aims to strengthen collaboration between the police and the community. Their diverse experiences and perspectives can provide guidance and recommendations in addressing concerns related to peace and order and in supporting initiatives that respond to the needs of Baliwag residents.

The formation of the advisory group also highlights the importance of community participation in maintaining a safe and peaceful city. 

By bringing together representatives from different sectors, the initiative creates an avenue for stakeholders to share their knowledge, observations, and recommendations in support of local police efforts.

The oath-taking marks the formal commitment of the  C.A.G.T.P.D. members to fulfill their role as partners of the police and the community in advancing peace and order in Baliwag.

With continued cooperation among the city government, police, and various sectors of the community, the advisory group is expected to contribute to efforts toward a safer, more orderly, and more peaceful Baliwag.
