A dream in red, Hamilton’s first Ferrari victory

Although he failed to secure a victory during his first season with the team, Lewis Hamilton remained determined to succeed with Ferrari.

The seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton delivered a superb performance at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, claiming his maiden win with Ferrari earning him 25 points with a time of 1:32:28.105 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya this Sunday, June 14.

With Ferrari’s bold strategy paying off, Hamilton was able to overtake the British, George Russell and seize the race lead, putting himself in a strong position. His consistent pace and great tire management allowed him to maintain control throughout the race.

Hamilton eventually crossed the finish line to seal his memorable win. He was joined on the podium by George Russell in second place and Lando Norris in third, making it Formula 1’s first all-British podium since 1968.

The triumph brought Hamilton closer in the driver’s standings, leaving him 41 points behind leader Kimi Antonelli and dethroning the Italian championship leader from his five-win streak.

“How do you find the right words to express an emotion that’s beyond your wildest dreams?” Hamilton stated happily.

It marked a special moment in his career, as it was his first Grand Prix win with Ferrari after joining the team in 2025.

Both Russel and Norris praised Hamilton for his performance

Norris shared, “Pretty cool. It’s pretty special. It’s nice. And with Ferrari again, it’s even cooler to kind of see that partnership come through and kind of pay dividends.”

Hamilton described the achievement as a dream come true and thanked the team, his family, and his supporters for standing by him throughout the journey.

As the celebrations continue, Hamilton’s historic triumph serves as a reminder that perseverance and belief can turn even the biggest dreams into reality
