FEU Shines in the 2026 V-League Collegiate Challenge

The Far Eastern University (F.E.U.)’s volleyball team, the “Tamaraws,” continued its impressive series of wins in the V-League Collegiate Challenge after beating Arellano University, 25-16, 25-14, 25-19, on Sept. 13.
Player of the game, Amet Bituin, reeled in 11 points: eight attacks and three blocks. Doula Ndongala trailed with 10 points, eight blocks.
Meanwhile, Angelo Fernandez from Arellano stood solely under the losing spotlight with 10 points on seven attacks and three aces.
“Lahat naman ng team na makakalaro natin, talagang gusto nilang kunin ‘yung game sa’tin. Kaya medyo hindi pwedeng petiks-petiks lang,” said the F.E.U. head coach Eddieson Orcullo.
This victory allowed F.E.U. to keep its unbeaten record in the tournament. F.E.U. showed skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the match.
The skills that helped the Tamaraws build an advantage over Arellano Chiefs were their accurate serves, strong attacks, and organized defense. Essentially helping them perform a swift gameplay throughout the match.
However, on the other side of the arena, Arellano tried their best to gain momentum of the court.
They showed effort and determination, but in the end, F.E.U. walked out of the arena victorious.
This match showed how important teamwork is, the Tamaraws supported each other and worked hard to keep the ball under their control.
For Arellano, this match is an opportunity to learn from their mistakes, create better strategies, and prepare for future matches.
F.E.U. will now focus on its upcoming games as they try to keep their winning streak of 3-0 in the V-League Collegiate Challenge. With their strong performance and teamwork, F.E.U. hopes to achieve more victories in future matches.
