The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) estimates that, as of May 1, palay production for the period of April to June has reached 4.61 million metric tons (MT), which by itself is higher than the 4.38 million MT record in the same period last year. 

Pride, culture, and nature—all bound to one mighty eagle. Yet today, this bold raptor has become a seldom treasure the nation struggles to keep. Its rapid decline threatens not only our heritage, but the very environment that sustains us. Once it is lost, our pride comes along with it.
